[Openvortex-dev] Sync problem

Hello.

I've been playing and recording on my Aureal SQ2500 all day, and
confirmed the following behavior:

When playing, about 300ms in the beginning of the audio file gets
chopped off. This doesn't happen if I use XMMS with "keep output opened"
enabled.

When recording, first 300ms of a new file are actually from the end
of the previous recording. It would seem, that they get chopped off the
end, and dumped next time I record. I'm going to verify the precise
size duration if necessary.

I think that this problem also causes the out-of-sync problem in ALL
video players that I've been experiencing. Am I the only one with this
problem?
