[Muddleftpd-users] Install Solaris 2.8

I have been trying (without success) to compile this in a Solaris 2.8
environment.
  The make fails at the ftplist.c section..

 I have tried various versions of  the source and various versions of
make & gmake .
 ( it all worked under the linux os....but I really want to evaluate in
the SUN world if possible)

Question has anyone installed this on a Solaris 2.8 unit.
 if so, which versions of make, gcc, etc...

ps. sorry for not including the exact error now, have to get back to the
machine and capture it :-(
for now I am just hoping somebody has done it...
