We are pleased that it is useful for you :)

Regarding the configuration report in web interface or CLI ... monit reports just the action name currently (such as alert/restart/exec/etc.), just for information what type of action will be done when the rule match. There is no detail available currently => the observed behavior is normal.

Thanks,
Martin

Hi,

I upgraded to 4.8.2 and am very happy about the filesystem flags option. Very helpful in my situation actually. Works nice too, thanks!

I don't know if this is fs flags specific or exec specific, but in the web interface the filesystem flags line looks like this:

Filesystem flags If changed 1 times within 1 cycle(s) then exec

It doesn't say what it executes, just that it does 'exec'.

In the configuration file I have this line:

if changed fsflags then exec "/bin/mount -o remount /boot"

Tested it and works, but why doesn't it show the command?

Thanks,
    Alex
