If the chain can be expressed in a monit dependency graph (see the
manual) you may want to investigate this option as well, since if one
process fails, depending processes can be stopped/started/restarted
automatically. However if all processes truly depend on each other
using dependecies are not useful and you will have to go with the
option suggested in the other mail.
