Well, I'm not sure I got it (morning, sick, etc.), but afaik we had to 
work in slim mode for our incremental planet updates at the time I set 
this up. Hence, the fact that slim-mode for incremental updates is 
supported doesn't surprise me at all.

What would be interesting, though, is to evaluate incremental updates in 
non-slim mode. But, as your message suggests, this still does not seem 
to be supported. Could anybody confirm this claim ?
