Regarding your issue of the /maps/ page being sometimes empty on
production server, there is probably a cache effect somewhere.
When I installed the latest translation (commit
e54a17d35282d9ce9b2a3bbda3a6f1320321f805) and after running
'django-admin.py compilemessages' it took some time before they appeared
on screen.
