So, not really very? Looks to me as though the only public repos are
either shoving snapshots - or just releases - into an SCM, or are
someone else's work atop yours.
I can work with that, now that I know what's what.
Thank you very much - for explaining and, even more, for taking on the
relatively thankless task of maintaining lynx in the first place!
