Jonathon's signature doesn't use Chinese characters. Some of them are
Japanese Kana, but I think some of them may be from completely different
scripts (some look like they could be Arabic, used out of context). I
tend to treat it as gibberish that unnecessarily forces me to reply in
UTF-8.

Emails are not formal business letters, whatever businesses may want.
RFC1855 says there should be an address here, but, in a world of spam,
that is no longer good advice, as archive address hiding may not work.
