oh... I recall running into that last fall. The OpenSSL group seems to have changed its dependencies. (I don't recall that they've started making a pkg-config script - would be nice). Usually I don't run into a problem with that is because -ldl is used for other libraries. You should be able to make it work by adding "-ldl" to your $LIBS environment variable, e.g., setenv LIBS "$LIBS -ldl" -- Thomas E. Dickey http://invisible-island.net ftp://invisible-island.net
