So, we avoid "bloat" by adding features? Screen weighs in at less than 1MB on my platform, a quarter of the size of lynx, so if you want that functionality, there's no reason you can't install it. Adding the same functionality and code to lynx, where everyone would get it, whether they intend to use it, or not, would rather be the "bloaty" thing (...and yes, you can have more than one screen running).
