Sorry, I should have sent this in when it happened:
I had one fatal error with Island.net's Lynx, but it was Lynx 2.8.1pre.9
Thinking you didn't need bug reports from older versions [eg,
reports for bugs that had been fixed], it went unmentioned except
for a quick note to the Island.net webmaster.
The only similarity is that I was browsing internally generated
pages; compile time settings, current lynx.cfg status, etc. While
there, I asked Lynx to q)uit and gave confirmation [Y], but instead
of quitting it exited and dumped its core. Didn't bother me,
since this is *roughly* what I'd had in mind anyway.
It only happened once [couldn't be reproduced later]. Maybe totally
unrelated, but the others seem fairly random and hard to repeat
as well. "Exiting with signal: 11" sounds familiar too.
All I really know about the server is from the login prompt:
Red Hat Linux release 5.2 (Apollo)
Kernel 2.0.38 on an i686
Hope that tells you something.
