This is your opinion. I use Lynx on a 19.2K or 28K connection via a
terminal emulator, and I certainly want horizontal scrolling.

This is a valid problem.. so presumably the hypothetical ability to do
horizontal scrolling could be turned off via a switch.

It's not "beautiful" if you're looking at a table and trying to actually
read the contents.
