Even ncurses work for me, if I use standard Makefile and not use
configure :-)

This process involves patching configure.in first and autoconf usage,
I am not too familiar with autoconf, so it can take some time...
BTW, I believe that ncurses support is Dickey area, maybe he will agree
to help here since he is one of configure.in authors...
