Get a copy of the CERN httpd and run it on your machine.  Set it up as
a cacheing server.  This also makes \ work fast, etc.

Then abort the download as soon as it starts.  (Caution, if it gets too
far, you will need to do a refresh, will will be issued with caching
disabled
