Well, as Jay said, y'all have every right to ask.  I have written
personally to Bob Izenberg because, although David Drum might be
able to determine the current posting-rules status of the list, I
think that it takes Bob to change anything.

Now would perhaps be a good time to suspend traffic on this thread
until Bob can pay attention to it.  As far as I can tell, the points:

  - the list subscribers are concerned
  - the list subscribers predominantly prefer open posting

have been established.
