No, it's the most recent stable *release*, but it was a bug-fix branch based on 1.4.0.
Development (more bug-fixes, IPv6, improved PPP) continues on a different branch. The 1.4.1 branch does unfortunately not get bugfixes backported, as our team currently consists of <=3 developers only, and we simply don't have enough time to do that.
OTOH, the 1.5.0 git branch should be pretty stable right now, too. Simon
