Follow-up Comment #17:

May be a little late, but just my 2cents on comment #14 and the attached
files:
- sio.h is already done
- ppp.h: why do we need ip.h here?
- ppp.c: SYS_THREAD_NULL is not defined, sys_thread_new is expected to never
fail, so these changes are not needed right now.
