Should I add those or not? Kieran, if we decide to never move to PBUF_RAM
pbufs that can be chained, we can leave the assertions away.
I think having chained PBUF_RAMs can be a good compromise to get the speed of
a pool while not wasting much memory (when having small pool elements ->
multiple pbufs that are chained).
