Not that I know of - it's up to the port to guarantee this sort of thing
at the moment.  We'd clearly like to make it easier for ports to do this
as it would save time and effort for everyone, and cut 90% of the bugs
reported to the mailing lists too.  At the very least it should be
documented.

I'm glad you've found the problem anyway.  I presume your ISR must be
allocating pbufs then?
