Follow-up Comment #10, bug #20021 (project lwip):

this downside though. Probably do in fact if there's an existing race that
would also be solved.
I don't know if the benefits outweigh that. That's a thing I wouldn't like
seeing integrated. That would mean one full TCP window could block all other
connections.
In fact, the tcpip_thread can't even process incoming segments and thus would
block forever...
