[Linphone-developers] Android Linphone server log flooding with Asterisk 16.2.1

    Hello,
    
    This is my first post in this mailing list and I am not a developer,
    so please bear with me.
    I installed Linphone on Android to replace Zoiper. The installation
    and configuration went without problem and so far Linphone works
    better than anything else before.
    
    However I noticed that after activating two Android Linphones for
    testing the Asterisk logs are filling up with error and warning
    messages at 30-40 times the speed than before (about 400 MB/day). 
    I think this is a serious issue because with a larger number of
    Linphone clients the server logs could result in exhaustion of
    server disc space and server crash.
    The error message-flood has been reduced after configuring a
    STUN-server but it is still putting out *error messages every 15
    seconds* or so.
    
    The errors are clearly linked to Linphone and disappear if Linphone
    is stopped.
    They seem to be related to some kind of sleeping mode on Android,
    because they do not appear right away after a Linphone client
    registers with Asterisk, but after about 8 - 10 minutes.
    
    Below are the error messages and software versions.
    
    Linphone Android 5.0.2
    on Android 11
    
    Asterisk 16.2.1
    on Ubuntu 20.04 Linux
    (two identical but independent servers are showing the same
    symptoms)
