[Linphone-developers] Linphone crashing in ubuntu 20.04

Hi,

Linphone crashes after 31 secs after a call has been set up in ubuntu 20.04.
This only happens when I have linphone clients sitting on separate Virtual machines (VMs). Calls work fine between linphone and other clients of they are on the same VMs.

Wireshark shows an ACK going through from the intiator to the the receiver but the linphone client receiving the call sends a BYE after 30 secs unexpectedly.

The connectivity, between the VMs is fine as I am able to ping between them. Also I have used the nc module in linux to check connectivity between the specific ports assigned to linux for UDP.

According to the RF3261 protocol which linphone uses, the receiving client will send a BYE and end the call if it does receive final ACK from the initiating client in repsonse to the 200ok which the receiving client sent out.

Both VMs are on the same lan so NAT shouldn't be and issue. Also the call connecting in the first place means the routing should be fine I think.
It is just unstable with high jitter in the rtp packets and then it cuts suddenly at 31 secs exactly. An error of 'media lost' is given from the receipt client and the intiating client just had the call ended normally as if it was cut intentionally.

Any suggestions on how to solve this issue?

Thank you very much,
Faiz
