[Jailkit-users] SuSE problem

From: Steve Follmer
Subject: [Jailkit-users] SuSE problem

User-agent: Thunderbird 2.0.0.0 (X11/20070418)

Jun 4 14:37:29 suse jk_socketd[29683]: version 2.3, listening on socket
/home/sftpdom/dev/log with rates [512:2048]/10.000000
Jun 4 14:37:39 suse sshd[29691]: Accepted keyboard-interactive/pam for
djdh from 127.0.0.1 port 37327 ssh2
Jun 4 14:37:39 suse sshd[29697]: subsystem request for sftp
Jun 4 14:37:39 suse jk_chrootsh[29698]: now entering jail /home/sftpdom
for user djdh (1004)
Jun 4 06:37:39 suse jk_lsh[29698]: jk_lsh version 2.3, started
Jun 4 06:37:39 suse jk_lsh[29698]: the requested executable
/usr/lib/ssh/sftp-server is not found
Jun 4 06:37:39 suse jk_lsh[29698]: WARNING: user djdh (1004) tried to
run '/usr/lib/ssh/sftp-server', which is not allowed according to
/etc/jailkit/jk_lsh.ini

/usr/lib/ssh/sftp-server exists in the original file tree, but not under
the chroot tree.

SuSE doesn't seem to have a jailkit package, and nobody on their IRC
would answer my questions. I installed it by hand and that seemed to go
OK. I used the SuSE package in the directory named extra.

Then I followed the jailkit webpage instructions twice and created 2
jails, but neither let me sftp in as can be seen above.

Would value any suggestions.

Steve
