Sorry, I should have added the log from my scp test:

Oct 26 17:04:50 host jk_chrootsh[4414]: now entering jail /var/sftproot
for user test (512)
Oct 26 17:04:50 host jk_lsh[4414]: jk_lsh version 2.1, started
Oct 26 17:04:50 host jk_lsh[4414]: executing command '/usr/bin/scp -t
newfile' for user test 

So bothe sftp-server and scp seem to start.


Interesting, 

When I try and use scp I get the login, enter mypassword and then get:

Couldn't open /dev/null: No such file or directorylost connection
