Hello, With regard to the problem referred to in the Subject, I simplified the example: the src directory now has only one file and an RCS directory consisting of one RCS archive. The abort occurs when one executes the command "ci In.cpp". Before trying the command "ci In.cpp", the user must execute "rcs -l1.7.1.1 In.cpp" to break the current lock of revision 1.7.1.1 and create a new one.
