does RCS support inter-computer version control?

Hi,

I have two HP-UX server S1 and S2.
All the source files are in S1.

Can RCS do the following task?
Check out file f.c (in S1) to S2. Then do some modification of f.c in S2. Finally check in f.c back to S1.
