I used the following command to create a label in a file
/usr/local/bin/rcs -n"REVISION_23": server.c
Note that my file file has the LABEL REVISION_23 associated with revision
1.11.
rlog server.c
RCS file: server.c,v
Working file: server.c
head: 1.11
branch:
locks: strict
aml: 1.11
access list:
symbolic names:
REVISION_23: 1.11
keyword substitution: kv
total revisions: 11; selected revisions: 11
description:
What command can I use to print out the version of the file associated with
the label REVSION_23.
Please keep in mind that I would like to direct the output to some other
directory other than where the current source is located.
Thanks in advance for all that answer this post
