The script provided with the hurd source at release/SETUP, I created some images of my attempts here in my blog https://ctrl-c.club/~giggles/projects/hurd84/index.html Unfortunately I had no time to continue the project yet, but I want to start from scratch using the glibc script to create the toolchain. Can you check the image at the bottom of page to see if I installed it wrong?

Hello, Im trying to install the Hurd from scratch without the usage the
script from Debian/Hurd (native-install), I got the system working but it
always end booting with the system partition readonly.
Well, that is expected. A normal system first runs fsck on the
partitions, and only then it remounts "/" read-write.

I wonder if its needed to patch runsystem, runsystem.hurd or rc file
after the first boot to run the SETUP script.
Which setup script are you talking about?
