[Help-gsl] Install problems on OSX (intel macbook pro)

I can't seem to get GSL to install on my new intel macbook pro. I've tried:

sudo ./configure
sudo make

...but then when I try to install a different program that relies on GSL it
tells me:

configure: error: include file gsl_math.h missing; please install GSL package



Do you think it's a GSL problem or a photom problem (the other program I'm
trying to run http://spiff.rit.edu/photom/)
