What I could not understand is how one could use a Gparted boot ISO embedded
into another operating system partition, like mine for Ubuntu 20.04.3 Desktop.
It seems like then GParted would become dependent on this partition and could
not modify it....
That is why I have tried putting it on a separate partition.

But when I changed from using the separate partition to actually copying the ISO
into /boot/images on the desktop Ubuntu and then sudo update-grub it found
GParted and put it on the boot menu:

* Ubuntu
  Advanced options for Ubuntu
  Windows Boot Manager (on /dev nvme0n1p1)
  Ubuntu 20.04.3 LTS (20.04) (on /dev nvme0n1p6)
  Advanced options for Ubuntu 20.04.3 LTS (20.04) (on /dev nvme0n1p6)
  UEFI Firmware Settings
  GParted Live
  Bootable ISO Image: gparted-live-1.3.1-1-amd64

I can now use "GParted Live" to boot to the ISO!

But if I try the last item "Bootable ISO.." I get this on screen:

error: out of memory
Press any key to continue...

At this point the system is locked up and the only way out is to long press the
power button to shut down the PC.

I wonder what happened?

But as long as I know this I am OK.
