In my defense, I also have a Linux machine, where Emacs works fine.

Clicking the "X" in the UR corner, or selecting "Exit" on the menu, or
typing Ctrl-X Ctrl-C, to close the session.

No, it comes up initially a different size, but immediately reverts to the mini
frame.

setting to 25, did this and got:
"-raster-Courier-normal-normal-normal-mono-25-*-*-*-c-*-iso8859-1"

That worked!

Thanks, I used to know how to do that -- will look into it. Will it
work with a running
Emacs? Thought there was a daemon needed to be running.
