Yes. The idea is to have documented, for each message, the possible
causes and their solutions.
We are going to have the HMIS documented on our GH portal
(www.gnuhealth.org/docs)

Just a reminder to the agile software manifesto (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Agile_software_development#The_Manifesto_for_Agile_Software_Development):

"Working software over comprehensive documentation"

meaning in this context: if a user runs into an error, the software should immediately offer a solution instead of RTFM ("read the f*cking manual")
