Dear All

I have been thinking (again!) about setting up medication products in
Tryton/GNU Health.

WITH THE CURRENT TRYTON FUNCTIONALITY I have decided that
the only way to do this is to set up the medication products in tryton as
single "issue units".

Default UOM =

tablet
capsule
ml
ampoule
vial
inhaler

etc.

When ordering stock into the pharmacy from the wholesaler/supplier there
will need to be some conversion software to link the Tryton product code with
the supplier product code.

Tryton orders 200 x 1 ml amoxicillin 125mg/5ml oral
suspension (AMOX-125-OS-1-ML)

supplier receive order (via a link conversion
table) for 2 x 100 ml amoxicillin 125mg/5ml oral suspension (AMOX-125-OS-100-
ML)

A bit messy but it would work!

Regards

Andrew
