I just tried building wine-minimal from core-updates at commit da7d615629, and 
I think you may have be missing a "!" with the new flag for the tar test suite 
(i.e. it needs to be "-k '!tricky time stamps'"). Based on the build log, right 
now only the failing test is being run:
