Derek is a limitation? Btw neil, Derek != GNU. Our only limitations is
the copyright in itself and the fact that we are part of GNU so and are
here to uphold freedom which means following the guidelines of GNU in
licensing (for the record I am not sure anyone else is going to budge
on the GPL and to single out Derek is a bit underhanded). Finally, the
purpose of copyright assignment is so the FSF can legally protect us.

And if cynics ridicule freedom, ridicule community...if ``hard nosed 
realists'' say that profit is the only ideal...just ignore them, and use 
copyleft all the same.
