You're being incredibly stupid. The lockin is done using certification
schemes with partners.
Oracle (Red Hat's large investor), for example, certifies Red Hat's
official distro (binaries) for use with its products. And no debian,
no centos, no ubunto. Oracle customers are required to run Oracle
products on *certified* OSes.
