The person who wrote this article missed the point: big business is not
at all like the "rock star" small businessman that he refers to. Corporations
can make a profit off of anything, but their goal is to *not* compete : to merge
with competitors, to make alliances, to outsource jobs (or get free product
from developers). Corporations are all about standardization, be it free or
proprietary it doesn't matter. In a truly free market you have only small
businesspeople. Belittling them by calling them "rock star" wannabes is just
ignorant.
