No, I was wondering exactly the same thing. He did not say anything in
that article against the idea that software should be free, nor have I
seen him do so in any of his others. The article is inaccurate - it
claims that Stallman's dealings with SIGLINUX amounted to "coercion",
which it clearly didn't - but not actually particularly damning of
Stallman or his beliefs.

None of us can speak for Stallman, and I doubt he reads this list
(you might try mailing him personally).
