But that's not what you claimed UTUTO didn't do, and your present claims
are missing a key part of what you said before that UTUTO already did.
Was there a misunderstanding in what you wrote below?

Last I looked, about a week ago, UTUTO didn't even disable the printing
of the error messages, and the firmware-loading machinery was definitely
enabled.

What is it that changed since then?
