"To recommend mplayer is, in effect, to promote use of the non-free codecs" the same with gnash. I am astonished. Is Gnash using, distributing or recommending the usage of non-free codecs and plugins?. If it does it is violating the GNU policies and in that case would be kind on your side to send a bug report to the gnash developers (not to this list) addressing the specific problem. -- Jose E.
