smsd can only use smsc number on card/mobile

Hello,

I've just setup Motorola Modem and gnokii (0.6.26)

Using echo Test | gnokii --sendsms <phone number> --smsc <smsc center> works.

However I cannot change the SMSC number with:
AT+CSCA="<smsc center>"
+CMS ERROR: 305

Therefore, smsd (with mysql) will not work, since it uses the smsc configured 
on the card?

Any suggestions as to how I fix the smsc number or solution for AT+CSCA?
