only if you can find a driver for your OS, so you need to know what kind
of USB chip is used by the cable.

Why don't you buy a direct USB-3310 cable?
If you search Ebay for
nokia 3310 usb cable
you can find one at GBP 0.99 (I don't know if it works)
Somewhere I've seen a single port USB to COM at USD 6.50
