There is a problem with Symbian 60 phones and AT mode: it is almost
completly cut off the functionality. And as gnapplet doesn't support
cable connection yet, the only sane way to use it is irda or
bluetooth.
If you want to get/write contacts/calendar/files to the phone openobex
tools might suite you. I'm not sure about SMS. They may be supported
in AT mode -- I'm not sure.
With some luck we'll find out how does Nokia PC Suite communicate over
the USB cable.
