I am using Gnokii 0.6.8 version and working on Fedora Core 3 operating
system.
I have configured an GSM modem i.e 81G-CM (GSM Commercial Modem). I am using it by doing the following changes in gnokiirc file.
i.e
port == ttyS0
connection= serial
model = AT
baudrate=9600
I am able to communicate to that modem and also able to send messages.
But suddenly some times it gives me a message
GNOKII Version 0.6.8
Telephone interface init failed: Unknown error - well better than nothing!!
Quitting.
when ever i type gnokii --monitor
So is there any solution for this.
I am also facing another problem i.e when ever i am trying to get an sms from the modem.
i.e by typing the command
gnokii --getsms SM 1 -d
The first message is got by me and that gets deleted which is the purpose of that command.
but when i once again type the same command i don't get the other
message
it gives an error
then i have to type the command in different way i.e
for getting the other message i exectue the command
gnokii --getsms SM 2 -d
I want to get all the
messages from the SIM but i am not able to get the count of the
messages which are stored in the SIM for specifing the range.
So what to do ? Please help me out
