Hi,
I have run "gnokii.exe" which displayes many "gnokii --<options>" and then run "gnokii --identify" option from windows command prompt. Here is an ouptut:
******************************************************************************************************
E:\vsengr\gnokii-0.5.6-win32\bin>gnokii --identify
GNOKII Version 0.5.6
Couldn't open D:\Documents and Settings\vsengr\_gnokiirc or gnokiirc. Exiti
ng now...
E:\vsengr\gnokii-0.5.6-win32\bin>
******************************************************************************************************
Now, this clearly states the error "couldn't find gnokiirc". I have made "gnokiirc" *file* as well as *folder* in both "E:\vsengr\gnokii-0.5.6-win32\bin>" and in "D:\Documents and Settings\vsengr\" directories but non of them works.
As u said:
>"Try to run "gnokii --identify" first. Don't forget to create a working

What do u mean by "working gnokiirc file"? What is the "extension" of this "gnokiirc file"? [Remember, in windows File and Folder are two different things]
Regards,
VSENGR.

No. This zip file contains the _compiled_ win32 version. You can
execute it (you will find gnokii.exe in the package) or you can
develop programs based on libgnokii.

If you downloaded the precompiled package you won't find the
source
in it. BTW you have no need for the source unless you want to compile
libgnokii (gnokii.dll on win32) yourself.

No, is the folder where the precompiled gnokii package was
extracted.

Try to run "gnokii --identify" first. Don't forget to create a working
gnokiirc file (you will find an example in the doc/sample folder).
Bye,
