Vsengr,
There is a flaw in your diagram.
How are you going to receive the menu selection
from M1?
There is no DTMF decoder in your circuit, nor a
EARPIECE to PC MIC/LINE IN, so you can't use DTMF decoder on PC, and the Cell
(6110) does not decode digits received whilst on a call.

Subject: Re: Nokia Message Type OR
commands?
Hi,
Thanks Bozo for your indepth answers yet. I am using
Windows OS as a platform and VC/VB for developing my application. Now from
your last reply, there are some terms/things which I donot understands. I am
stating here.
1: What is libgnokii? Where can I get it?
2: Establishing Data Calls? Do u mean M2 will automatically accept the
call made by M1?
3: What is RLP subsystem?
Looking for your further help!
Regards,
Vsengr.

Call.
Ok. If you are writing a GPL licensed application, you can use
libgnokii. This is the easiest solution. Otherwise you have to implement
the fbus layer and the relevan part of the phone driver.
The exact
messages depends on the phone type and the connection type. Phones which
supports datacalls (e.g. 6110, 5110) are providing the "Call Information"
messages (look into Docs/protocol/nk6110.txt for details), otherwise you
have to use the "Call commands" messages. The "Call commands" messages
are supported by the 6110, 5110 too, but it isn't able to establish data
calls. BTW if you want to establish data calls these messages aren't
enough, you have to implement the whole RLP
subsystem.
Bye, Bozo
