Bad checksum & Fbus out of sync

Hi, my gnokii SMSD daemon works fine for several hours but then it stops to
receive/send SMS. It still keeps sending GetSMSFolderStatus command, but it
does not receive any response from the phone:

Looking into the log file, I also see "Bad checksum" error and "The fbus
stream is out of sync" error. These error messages appear from time to time,
since the very starting of the daemon:

I'm using a Nokia 6310i, DLR3P cable, Linux 2.4, gnokii 0.4.3. I had tried
to use 0.5.5 but it gives me more errors.

Any help is highly appreciated.
