Hi gnokii guru's!
I am having some difficulties connecting my 8210 to my toshiba portege 7010ct.
My .gnokiirc :
[global]
port = /dev/ircomm
model = 8110
initlength = 1
connection = irda
binddir = /usr/local/sbin
Output of gnokii --version :
GNOKII Version 0.3.4
(.deb package from testing/main)
Output of lsmod | grep ir :
irlan 35296 0 (unused)
ircomm-tty 30016 0 (autoclean)
ircomm 13148 0 (autoclean) [ircom-tty]
irda 138764 0 [irlan ircomm-tty ircomm toshoboe ]
Output of lsmod | grep tosh :
toshoboe 7040 0
irda 138764 0 [irlan ircomm-tty ircomm toshoboe ]
toshiba 2624 0 (unused)
Output of ls -l /dev/ir* :
crw-rw-rw- 1 root root 161, 0 Oct 3 17:42 /dev/ircomm
first, i run
ifconfig irda0 up
success. then i run
gnokii --identify
(with the ir activated on the 8210)
but it drops out with the error :
Hmmm... GSM_LinkOK never went true. Quitting.
can anyone point out the error of my ways? i'd love to get this working...
regards & thanks
charlie
