Hi,

firstly thanks for your interest in gm2!  It is great to have these
questions asked and hopefully the answers could form a FAQ and/or
improve the documentation and compiler.

I'm currently working on getting gm2 into the gcc tree.  Fixing bugs in
the regression suite - one module I'm currently implementing is to
tighten up the type checking (particularly the types between proc types
and procedure) - but in fact all parameters.  One of the 13 regression
test failures is to do with a proc type and lack of checking.

I'd like to re-implement long sets as well to use an array of byte - but
this is an internal compiler issue really.

I'd also like to make headway developing M2R10 - the variadic records is
the first aspect, which is a smallish chunk of work.

Having someone contribute bindings to popular libraries would be really
awesome!  OpenGL would be fun :-)  but take your pick and enjoy!
