Hallo Gaius,

I have a similar issue. When using my libraries I always have to include 
stuff explicitly in the Makefile (see attached as an example - I have my 
GM2 stuff in /usr/local, should change that ;-).

Perhaps - if not already in place - an environment variable indicating 
where to look for definition files might be of help, also for libraries 
to be linked "by default". Not sure if that's going in the right direction.
